The place is taking on a wee bit different look.

I started cutting everything down except for some trees the 16th.

These shots will kinda give y'all an idea what's been happening.

The 17th, when I got done, I didn't think I would make it as I ended up with cramps in both arms and legs.

As you'll notice I burned most everything off that day. I could see and get around a LOT better after that. I just hope I didn't get wind of the poison ivy burning. The whole lot was/is full of it. What do y'all think? Kinda opens up the front of the house don't ya think? The larger tree, to the right of center of the picture, I think I'm going to cut the top out of it and place a purple martin house there.
I didn't let the fire go up on the bank just below the house, I wanted to leave the straw to help hold the bank/moisture. This is all I have left to clear. There aren't many trees in this area that will need to be cut.
The new house that is being built is taking shape quite fast. It is totally enclosed except for doors and windows.
